no one on the line when you answer. they have sent a new box to us - for free which we didn't necessary want and have not hooked it up yet. I'm guessing they're chasing the old one .

Caller: said it was Foxtel, wanted my mobile number (had called on my landline)

Checked with REAL Foxtel - nothing in their system to say Foxtel had called me/needed to talk to me. Conclusion = crooks.

This number is a scam, it is NOT Foxtel. Don’t give out your details. Block them and let Foxtel know.

Presume calls were from Foxtel, but no messages left so I presume they don't want me to call back. They want their IQ3 box back after Telstra specifically told me a month ago, in writing, that I didn't need to return it. I sent the Telstra message through to them (try actually getting a written message through to Foxtel - you can't without making a complaint). From previous experiences, very hesitant to do anything with Foxtel or Telstra over the phone.

If its foxtel still waiting for the sticker so i can send it back.i tried taking it to post office foxtel gave me incorrect code.

Same thing happen few days ago with me to return back the foxtel box. Even I am not direct Foxtel customer.. Had a big argument with them as they rang me in 10 min three times. I told them if you rang me again I will complaint to the FOXTEL department and not going to answer any of your call. Haven't received there call since then.

I was wondering how they got my number and details.

Not Foxtel. Scammers. Do not give details over phone like me. Luckily no car details were given.

Called and told me call being recorded etc, but not the full thing as normal. Didnt sound like a normal foxtel centre call as there was no background noise. Then asked if I had sent back my foxtel equipment, said I dont know what he is talking about, he said have you sent back your foxtel set top box, I said no idea what you mean, why would I send back my foxtel box - then he wanted to confirm my details name and mobile (that he called me on??!!) I told him I wouldnt be giving him any of my details, he then said is there anything he can help me with, I said no and hung up.

I’ve never had an foxtel account in my entire life. I don’t even own a tv 😂. This said number called me and said to call them back neck there is an emergency. Wtf
