Recieved a call from this number about 30mins ago, decided to google it and came upon this. This caller started the conversation by claiming hes from AirAsia and they are offering a plan to their 'Value Members'. Then he went on and on about some insurance plan and what they cover etc. I got fed up after hearing for a few minutes so I told him I wasnt interested and then he got irritated with me 'Why you not interested?' 'Can you tell me why?' What kind of nonsense is this? Hope they don't ever call back.(03) 8314 0200

I just got a call from this number too. They hung up before I could answer, When I call back it rings once then disconnects. Last week I did pick up a call from some AirAsia thing but told them I was too busy to talk at that time. The woman said she would call me back next week so it seems pretty likely that what you lot are saying is correct, Scam or not, those guys are 'claiming' to be phoning on behalf of AirAsia.
