They got wrong person's number and told to delete wrong number. Instead, they started to ask if I have a life insurance and my name. I told they got wrong number and busy. They do hang up but will call you 3 times a day. I blocked number but I can see the log still calling me. I start to wonder do they get paid by call? How to get their personal number to annoy them?!

Frenz to block it just tap the number to display in your addresses, you know where it asks for the name etc like your going to add it to contacts then scroll down and press "block this number". They will eventually use another number once they see they are blocked..unless your expecting a call from an 03 8 etc etc number don't answer it just block it. If you call back they'll say this number is not connected or disconnected because they themselves have blocked incoming calls or use the internet to display this bogus number, that's modern telemarketers for you.

They just keep calling then when I answer they hang up and when I call back it says this number has been disconnected. Then today they rang and the guy said "how can I help you" ? I said "you rang me what do you mean how can YOU help me" ? I kind of feel sorry for them, its their job be it so annoying, you gotta give them a B+ for persistence and a A+ for being annoying.

They are scammers. An Indian accented guy calls you and if you show the slightest interest he says' 'I'll pass you over to my supervisor' who is the hard sell con man, too important to call scamees himself, so he uses a proxy to hook you in. Say they are 'Energy Solutions' and can save you 40% off your current electricity bill, and ask you who you are with and for all the details of your last bill. Also use 0402 123 160.
