Called number back and received a message saying “the number you have called is not connected”

Missed a call from this number. No message left. When I tried to call back got the message 'optus advises that the number you have called has been disconnected'

They calling me every few days, strong Indian (or similar) accent. I asked them million times not to ring back or I report to Police but they still calling back. I decided to ''investigate'' them and requested a discount on my electricity bills. They told me that the ''Manager'' will call back in a few minutes and he did! He ''the Manager'' ha ha has a very clear Australian accent!!! Ozi scammer!!! He vigorously rejected to send me a letter or to send me an email or me to ring him back. He was adamant that ''First'' we have to organise the discount and to do so they have to confirm with me my Date of Birth. I asked him to ring me back on my other number as the line is not clear and gave him Crime Stoppers number lol

Caller: A company trying to compare your electricity and gas rates

A man on the phone said he can compare our electricity and gas rates and try to get us a cheaper rates with other suppliers. The caller was quite persistent.

Called was from a call centre - name is “Jack”
Trying to get you to say “yes”

Called my mobile asking for the person who pays the electricity bill. Scammer
