Have had several calls from this number..they never leave a
verbal message..it's only call centre white noise in the back ground

I called them back but no one answered.

Caller claims he is from a company comparing energy suppliers. First asked for and mentioned a name that was not mine, then asked if I was the owner of the number and if I pay for electricity. He asked which company I am with now, but when I asked he compare all companies for me instead and just give me the result, he left the call.

Spam and hung up on me

Caller: Scammer

Called with the number (03) 9989 1456. Indian accent. Provided a wrong name. Asked something about electricity and gas. Hung up. And blocked the number.
Then 5 seconds later, another number (03) 8202 5498 called. Blocked again.
Our government really need to do something about these scammers.

Get better rates on your energy - load of crap call from an indian call centre
Block the number, don't give out any information. Just hang up.

Answered but it hung off immediately.

I assumed it was likely spam so I didn't answer

These guys keep calling from different VIC numbers, but the call center is most likely overseas (India).
