Yep, definitely a scam. I spent 20 minutes or so with a Wellconnect scammer yesterday. Gave him a false name, I lied about my details and hung up on him just when he thought he was closing the deal. He keeps calling back, it’s fun wasting his time and reduces the time he has to rip-off other unsuspecting Aussies😀

Caller: Telstra

Robo Telstra call asking for various info. Picked up once, hung up and now keep calling back several times a day

Which energy company is using this mob? Let's keep calling their hotline and talking to them.

They use other numbers also.

Had several pest calls from similar numbers in the past week. I didn't answer this one, no msg left. Reading the above notes I'm glad I ignored this call.

Caller: A robot

typical bait & switch scam tactic, robo calls for harvesting unsuspecting respondents. When marketing stoops to scamming tactics it's just as undesirable.

Called back as was missed and was from well connect electricity. Now blocked. Suggest you do too :)

Caller: Fake energy co Welconnect

Yet another robocall/hangup call from Wellconnect electricity spammers. Often uses numbers beginning with (03) 8202 52xx. No such company.

Caller: Unknown

No message left. Many calls originating (??) from Victorian landlines. Just keep blocking.
