Just got a call, they put me on hold. Am blocking the number now ...

Had them call my work number 3 times over the last week. Haven't picked up yet but it's getting annoying. Weird thing is the mobile number for my phone hadn't been used for 6 months, just got it a month ago and it's only used for sending calls to clients so don't know how they'd of gotten the number.

Theyve called my mothers mobile 5 times claiming from Optus when it's a Telstra phone. Mentioned surveys etc and wouldn't listen after told we were on do not call register.

Missed a call from them at 2:00pm today. Glad I did. Wouldn't have answered for an unknown number anyway.

Just picked up a call from this number and the person just hung up. Thanks for the tips everyone!

Called me just then, claiming to be from optus. My phone is with Vodafone.

Hung up as soon as I answered the call.

Refuse to answer this call as number is not familiar. Great advice. Glad I didn't pick up.

They are crooks and need to be taken down.

My husband has spoken to them once, told them we are not interested. They have since called me back twice - i have not answered.

Likely to be a outbound call centre based in the Philippines

Damn marketing people too cheap to even pay for a call. They ring you then hang up so you ring them back, they either ask u to do a survey or promise you a prize and then the real reason they call is to sell you a mobile phone account - REAL DODGY
