Guy wanted to know about my internet connection, he could sell me a faster nbn at a cheaper rate. I told him I was late for an appointment and to give me his number, he hung up. Suspect a scam??

Probably sales or scam. I didn't answer and no voicemail left by caller. Will block after reading these comments.

High pressure sales attempt in heavily accented English trying to sell me internet services and persuade me to change to them. They managed to get my name and address so I'm worried that they'll claim that I have agreed to contract them as my internet provider. Caller shows up as being located in Eltham Vic. number (03) 8400 6191. Don't touch them!!

Called about my internet, as others have said, asking if I was having any problems and how much I was spending. I said I was happy with my current provider and wasn't interested in changing. She then amicably wrapped up the call.

Called repeatedly until I answered. It's a ported Australian number from an Indian call centre. Instasavers. About my nbn. Even when I answered at nearly 8pm and abused the guy no end then hung up, he called straight back.

Rec'd a call from an 0424 584 568, an Asian gent wanting to discuss my home internet. Advised him I was not interested. Minutes later, missed a call from (03) 8103 7308 (this posting)and was left a voice msg in some Asian language. Called the number back & went staring to an English language voice mail "hello & welcome to Insta savers, we called to discuss your internet". I hung up there. I believe both calls are somehow related & due to the particularly odd voice msg - dodgy.

I called back number (03) 8103 7308 reached IVR for Insta Savers.
