Caller: I couldn't understand the guy when he said the companies name

Called the number back and got some guy telling me he'd been authorised to call me to check my electricity and gas plans to see if I could get a better offer.

If you get this number call you, block them straight away.

Caller: Claiming to be direct offer

This number is claiming to be an electricity offer but it’s neither. It’s a scam operating from India: spoofing a number from Victoria. BLOCK and report.

I called back number (03) 8103 7142 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

Caller: Call centre

Consistently getting calls from this number at least twice a day. After having checked here I have now blocked the number. I would suggest other block number
