What is this govt doing about these pointless spam calls that can just call my mobile number for pointless sales crap ??

spam call from KALKALLO, VICTORIA.

Recorded message says its from “Customer Benefit Services”. Extremely annoying as they will call my mobile number up to several times a week. They use different numbers to call also.

Caller: Fake insurance number

They’ve called me twice on this number located: kalkallo victoria. Kept asking if I had private insurance and I do and told them I wasn’t interested and the guy kept on trying to push his insurance on me. I said no and he reckoned that he’d get his insurance person to contact me again for great deals. I said don’t call again I don’t want it, he hung up on me. Then tried ringing again. I blocked the number. If you get a phone call from this number don’t bother answering it’s just a scam.

Endless calls from this number. Since I don’t know anyone in Melbourne I’m assuming it’s just more pushy annoying garbage. What self respecting business rings you on a Saturday morning anyway?
