I have had hundreds of calls and they don’t stop ringing. The number was blocked but somehow still got through

Caller: Company called Great Offer

An Indian man answered, told me he was calling from India but company is based in Melbourne Australia. Wanting me to give details of postcode, am I the only person on electricity bill & what electricity company I am currently with. Asked me to hold the line while he got a supervisor to assist me, yet hadn't asked any further questions. I had a feeling to turn off my computer while waiting. I did & he hung up. I'm so glad I watch the scammer payback YouTube video's because it's an education to help understand how they scam you & how the conversations go.

This is a scam call trying to “get you a better deal” on your electricity bill apparently. They say they are calling on behalf of a legitimate provider but this is not true. Please do not fall for it. Also, they don’t stop calling, including from all different numbers no matter how much you try to block the number/s.

Caller: So called electric company with Indian accent

Had this call from different numbers so many times. Asking about my electricity provider as ausgrid and somehow knows my name. Definitely sure it’s a scam
