Many many complaints.
They cycle numbers. Calls come from areas like Sunbury, Victoria

I called back number (03) 8001 8062 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

No message left so assume scam

it is always an unknown caller from Sunbury Victoria that begins with 8001.
I have blocked 8492,8499, 8502, 8495 this week already.
Last week it was about 10 '8001' numbers I blocked.
Most times they want to talk about my electricity bill (I think, their accent is so thickly Sub Continent).

No message keeps calling blocked this number

Scam stupid scam

Caller: Some Indian with poor English

Called from Sunbury, trying to help me save on electricity bills with a device installed. I told them that I have received around 15 “energy saver” calls (all from Sunbury) and I keep blocking their phone number but they keep calling off a different number. I demanded to speak with a supervisor but they insisted on trying to push the device on me, they eventually passed me on to someone else who had even worse English skills, I asked if they were a supervisor but they seemed really confused and eventually hung up the phone! SCAMMERS!!!!

They hung up when I answered

They called twice.
First time, I didn't pick up.
30 min later they called again. I picked up, said 'hello', they hung up instantly.

I'm in Queensland. Three missed calls from this Melbourne number today, and no message left. Annoying.

Missed a call from (03) 8001 3062. No message was left. I tried to return the call but a recording advised that the number is not connected.

I missed a call and no voicemail was left, 15 minutes later they called back and I answered and they then hung up without speaking.

Unknown number, no message left. Probably scam.
