Pretending to be PayPal - he gave it away when he was concerned that my Husband was at home!!!!

Call was cut off after 2 rings and I got a “Suspicious call pattern” warning on my iPhone. (Thank you, Apple.)

Called up pretending to be Telstra relating to internet and there was a problem with my security. When explained I work on IT and that’s not how it works she hung up

Very well spoken, advising of security issue with Commonwealth Bank security. Asked a lot of questions, advised of issues with IP address and need to follow up with giving remote access to computer. Hung up on them, confirmed with the bank that it was a scam

Took forever to speak, when i spoke he hung up.

They said they called from National bank of Australia and that I had 18000 transaction scheduled

Gentlemen said he was from Optus and asked if I was ......... which I said I am not and have never had an Optus account. He then disconnected the call.
