Caller: some guy called Dave

Saying he was from paypal

Number called me yesterday afternoon (2 April 2025, 4:40pm AEST).
I did not pick up and they did not leave a message. Though I received 2 other calls that same afternoon from very similar numbers (03) 7076 1290 at 1:45pm; (03) 7076 1302 at 3:25pm). I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all related. Spoofs/scams.

Caller: Telstra

Called twice during the day saying my personal IP address had become public and that they could sort it out. As I do not have any account with Telstra I became suspicious in addition to them in a noisy call centre with strong overseas accent. I said I would discuss the issue with my family and call Telstra back once we had decided on whether we needed help.

A voice with that annoying Indian accent (these scammers never learn) called twice saying it was from the Telstra technical department. Told them to go f*ck themselves and they disconnected the call.

My pixel phone and google suggests that this number is not legit - and to report and block. I didnt answer - and it left no message.

Saying from NAB bank re a transaction to USA
English sounded very Australian - told him that it was a scam and hung up

Guy with an indian accent, asked if I had made a payment to the USA of $1000 this morning, from Commonwealth Bank - problem is I don't bank with Commonwealth. He then asked who I did bank with and that he would transfer me to that bank. Such a Scam!!!

My phone displayed: "Warning: Suspicous calling pattern". So didn't answer it.

Received a call but it hung up fast. Then I looked at all the comments. Blocked

Caller: Peter from Telstra (lol)

Foreign voice.

Scam call - they left a silent voice message with a few loud call centre noises in the background. Melbourne location ID and im not from Melbourne.

I've called this a nuisance call, because they insist on ringing me at least daily. I blocked the number some time back, but they keep going

Claimed there was a large number of suspicious connections to out modem - I asked if he could provide details of our provider & our ip address - he gave me a fake ip & I advised him that he was wrong & he told me to f off & hung up

kept calling, never left message. Can see above it is a scam

I don’t answer this number, always rings in the afternoon. Suspected spam/telemarketer!!!

Called while I was in a meeting, I cancelled the call and sent them to my voicemail but they didn't leave a message. Based on the earlier reports, I suspect this is a scam/spam call.

I ordered iphone and I need to pay certain charge to make order.A guy with Indian Accent.

Would not leave message. This appears to be scammer. Will not respond. BLOCKED

Had a call from (03) 7076 1304. Did not pick up. Caller did not leave a voicemail. I called the number back and got no answer. I believe it is a scam call. Blocked the number.
