Scammer - They said they were from Telstra and my internet had been set to public and was a security issue they wanted to assist me to fix. I hung up on them. I could hear other call centre scammer staff talking in the noisy back ground.

Caller: Someone apparently asking about my Optus bill which was overdue. And another mot so bright scammer. Said she was with Optus. So I asked who my provider were for my service. They couldn't answer. My provider is boost... Didn't tell her that of course .. and they use Telstra network not Optus. As always I tell them to FK off at end of the call.

Called me today pretending to be Amazon checking that I had purchased a iPhone in California. Sounded super suspicious, so immediately checked my amazon account and there were no orders for an iPhone. I told that to them and they said is was a special hidden order - so dumb, but I could imagine would fool my grandmother. I wondered if I could trap him in a lie, and so I asked which Amazon location they were calling from, they said Sydney Australia, but was calling from an 03 Victoria number. So I hung up. Im in Perth. Don't know where he got my details from. I am with Telstra.

I to got a call from this number for the same reason, when I explain I don't use Telstra they became angry and started yelling. Over the last 2-3 weeks I have received numerous calls about the same thing all from (03) 7076 numbers.

Number called me yesterday afternoon (2 April 2025, 3:25pm AEST). I did not pick up and they did not leave a message. Though I received 2 other calls that same afternoon from very similar numbers (03) 7076 1290 at 1:45pm; (03) 7076 1304 at 4:40pm). I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all related. Spoofs/scams.
