Called and didn’t leave a message. Said the call was coming from Melbourne. Google search of number comes up with nothing. Called number back on private number and says phone is disconnected.

Said they were from Telstra about my internet. Said I wasn’t with Telstra and they laughed and called me stupid. 🙃

Caller claimed to be from Amazon. Said my account had a suspicious transaction. An iPhone 16 being sent to California. He even sent me a 6 digital auth code that identified as coming from Amazon.
The minute I asked for his name and a number to call him back on, he hung up

(03) 7076 1281 called the didn't leave message , when call back on this number couldn't connect . this may be telemarket or scamer

Rang them back but said "your call could not be connected"

Called and did not leave message. Assumed spam. Do not know anyone in Melbourne

Said they were from master / visa card security department. Claimed there was an international transfer and if I wanted to stop it. Pretended to connect me to my banking institution (number shows in same call center as (03) 7076 1291). "The Bank" wanted to show me what is happening and asked me to open Google. Definitely Phishing scam.

Called me claiming to be from Telstra and saying there were issues with my IP address. Suspected scam so I hung up.

I had the TrueCaller app on my phone. Pasted this number into the app and it came up with 17 reports of spam and its been named as 'Commonwealth Bank Phishing Scam'
