Call from scammers. Do not give them the info they requested

I answered the call, which sounded like a recorded message (research into the cost of living, Australian accent, female voice) but had to hang up as it was during work time. I called the number back and a recorded male voice with an American accent , immediately followed by another recording with a female voice also American accent stating the number was disconnected or not in service and to try again. Neither sounded like the usual (genuine) automated message Australian carriers provide in these cases, so I have now blocked the number.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Repeated calls during the business day. Has a pattern. First call, ring and don't speak, but if you answer and speak, then the second call comes in less than an hour later.

No amount of asking has enabled me to get them to stop calling.

Thinking about finding the whistle that I used to have when I was a child and giving that a blow to see if that gets the "don't call me" message better understood.

Repeated calls from this number, claiming to be from the Victorian Govt Energy Scheme. They introduce themselves with names like Jack or Steve (whilst not sounding like a Jack or a Steve) and talk about free shower heads. Call center background noise. When I ask for the name of the company they are calling for, or ask for the name of the installation company I am told the name of the installer is the Victorian Government. Two or three calls a day. Each time I answer (about every second call) I ask to be taken off their call list and each time I am assured they will do this. Scammers.

Caller: Supposed shower head people

Received about 8 calls within 2 hours. When I answered phone hung up. Another call within 5 minutes with ethnic person asking if we had shower heads fitted. I told them to stop ringing.

Called every 10 mins for 30 mins not happy always hung up
