Caller: said NBN

"Peter" called - asian gentleman. Said he was from NBN, i told him we were already connected and he said, "oh! well can someone come round and have a chat?"
i said no and hung up.

Caller: Annoying recording

Recorded message said they were doing a survey about cost of living pressures. I decided to stay on, answered one question about age and then they hung up on me. I wish I knew who the organiser was because that really annoyed me.

Robot saying they are from the Australian Research Centre to talk about the cost of living. There is no such thing as the Australian Research Centre.

3 rings then stopped, no message, now blocked

Caller did not leave a voicemail and when I returned the call it said the number was not in service. I am on the do not call list so I'm assuming this is a scam caller and not a telemarketer.

No message left. Number now blocked

Caller: no idea

Asks about whether u are over or under 58 for some sort of survey thing, seems like a scam.

Never answer numbers that are not saved on your phone
If it's someone known they will leave a voicemail and then you can call that number back
Sometimes they just need your voice and they can use ai and do the illegal stuff with your voice and they have your number anyways. So never answer and say hello ......

Indian wanting to know about my NBN when I repeatedly asked him who he was & what company he was from he just rudely kept talking over me.
Hung up & blocked.

(03) 7068 5802 called then hung up before i picked up the phone. BLOCKED !!!

on 30 May 2024 received call from (03) 7068 5862, caller did not leave any message. Must be a marketing or scam. Better to block the number.

multiple missed calls from this number, no message left. Have since blocked his number.

Spam call - did not speak

Suggested strategy: answer the call and say nothing. I have had good success with this strategy. : )

Spam call !

Indian spammer who addresses you by your first name, then claims to be calling about your domain name. When I told him I was not interested and to stop calling my number, he talked over me and carried on. Hung up and blocked the number.
