Caller: said NBN

"Peter" called - asian gentleman. Said he was from NBN, i told him we were already connected and he said, "oh! well can someone come round and have a chat?"
i said no and hung up.

Caller: Annoying recording

Recorded message said they were doing a survey about cost of living pressures. I decided to stay on, answered one question about age and then they hung up on me. I wish I knew who the organiser was because that really annoyed me.

Suggested strategy: answer the call and say nothing. I have had good success with this strategy. : )

Exactly the same scenario with this number also , scammers are lower than an ankle - and if your wondering what that refers too ?? Ankles are 2-3foot lower than a c!.nt

Robot saying they are from the Australian Research Centre to talk about the cost of living. There is no such thing as the Australian Research Centre.

Never answer numbers that are not saved on your phone
If it's someone known they will leave a voicemail and then you can call that number back
Sometimes they just need your voice and they can use ai and do the illegal stuff with your voice and they have your number anyways. So never answer and say hello ......

Got called today, tried to call back as I thought it may have been to do with the insurance claim I've been dealing with and apparently the number is no longer in service... weird

Automatic mated call : Australian research centre about the cost of living

Missed call today from this number. No message left. I have blocked as my phone said it was potential fraud.

The number is still active, I don't answer unknown to me numbers and since they don't leave a message I assume scammers are looking for active phones.

Caller disconnected when I answered

My Samsung phone labelled it asa possible scam while it was ringing. Don't answer, just block and delete it.

Called left no message maybe a scam caller.

Pretty sure previous scam calls received from numbers starting with 03 7068 . . . Don’t answer and block !

Three calls and it hangs up, no message no call back.
I did find out it was some dodgy cost of living survey, apparently a few people have started doing the survey and been hung up on, I'm no inspector gadget, but that tells me it's a scam!! Block and run.........

3 rings then stopped, no message, now blocked

Caller did not leave a voicemail and when I returned the call it said the number was not in service. I am on the do not call list so I'm assuming this is a scam caller and not a telemarketer.
