Scam caller.

I received a call from this number. I didn't answer then received a call immediately afterwards from a mobile phone number. Answered and it was a recorded voice recording supposedly from Amazon

Trying to get credit card details

Indian guy claiming to be from Telstra, telling me my account was eligible for half-off billing for the next 6 months. First off, Telstra would never do that kind of deal, they don't willingly give up profits for no reason. He tried to sound legit by reciting my own phone number and making claims about 'the account linked to this number' - Telstra customers have account numbers entirely separate to their phone numbers. Hung up on him.

Caller: Not Telstra!

Caller said he was from Telstra, that my IP address had been changed and that I needed to correct it. I told him to send me an email about it and he hung up.

South Asian accent, calling about my Telstra internet, which I dont have.

Caller: Said it was regarding my internet and said they were telstra

Once I said I wasn’t the account holder they hanged up. Indian accent and very noisy background.

Said they were from VISA and there was a suspicious purchase on my Amazon account. I don't have a Visa card. Thick accent, possibly Indian. I asked if I could trace the call and they hung up.

Caller: Person pretending to be NBN

Indian accent caller, saying they were NBN and overseas hackers were trying to use our internet. Sounded very convincing.

Caller did not leave a message, but... the phone ID, (03) 7067 6545 which is probably some innocent person's actual real phone number in Victoria.

Auto message claiming an outstanding PayPal purchase of 799

I phoned back and got a recorded message saying its message box was full so definitely not a legitimate business call.

Scammer - advising they are from Amazon and you have a transaction they want to verify on your amazon account - I said which account is that - he said your amazon account - I stated I had several (which I don't knowing it was scammer) I then said, this is not an amazon number they are based in Sydney and he hung up - winning!

Scam caller. It's getting out of control surely the Telecom companies know a scam, only interested in profits
