This is a definate scam. Very believable spin about pay pal. Terminate call.

Rang and said he was from security at Amozon, about a iPhone 12.
I told him to Piss Off, He yelled at me why are you so rude. I told him because he was a scamming A/hole. Then I hung up and blocked the number. The number is (03) 7067 6533.

Called about an eBay purchase, the Indian accent screams scammer. I just hung up this time, other times I would tell the caller to F@#k Off. I hope Australian businesses who use offshore contractors in India and other Asian countries start to learn from this! That is, customers listening to a foreign accent when answering a call, may question the legitimacy of said business. I do feel for the Australian Indians and Asians who a legitimate workers!!

Left automated voice note saying they’re calling from immigration. Dial ** for Chinese and dial ** for English. Def scam specially now that iPhones will usually have the name come up now days even if it’s not saved in your phone

I got a call from this number. it came up that it was from Melbourne on my phone. I don't know anyone from Melbourne, so I didn't answer it. Came here to look up the number straight after and I saw that it is attached to all sorts of scam calls regarding PayPal.
I have had several scam emails claiming someone is using my PayPal account to purchase goods. Impossible, seeing as my PayPal account has less than $2 in it. I wonder if there's a connection to the calls, or if its just coincidence. Scams all around anyway.

They hung up as soon as I answered. They obviously expected an elderly person to answer instead. When I rang them back an Australian voice told me to leave a message but then an American voice said the mailbox was full.

Said from Telstra and that I would be getting a %50 discount for 10 months and to confirm my email which he recited I hung up and received 2 calls immediately from 2 different numbers.from 2 different cities ????
