Automatic message, claimed they had noticed I had bought crypto currencies on my Visa card, but since I hadn't done that before, they had declined the payment. If i wanted to go ahead with the payment, I had to press 1

This caller did not leave a message. Would have to be dodgy. Why phone back. Now blocked.

Call centre spoofed number ID claiming there’s a problem with my Telstra connection. Bye, scammers!

Rang saying that they are from Telstra and that my internet is showing that it is being hacked…..I hung up as I am not with Telstra 😡. 3 spam call today

I'm so sick of this. This scamming moron rang on a Friday evening, at dinner time of course, and then didn't bother to speak when the answering machine kicked in. As usual. (And I never, ever answer calls from unknown numbers nowadays. It would be good if no one did.)
I see from previous posts here that this bunch of scamming lowlifes don't even know who they're supposed to be pretending to be.

Female with almost unintelligible Indian accent, claimed to be calling from Telstra. Couldn't understand what she was saying, but kept her talking for a while (fewer victims). Then told her I was leaving call and that I hoped that she wasn't going to go on to try to scam other people. Number now blocked. (BTW .. I don't have a Telstra account anyway .. )

Said he was from the Telstra IT Department and that people had been accessing my internet. Wanted me to go on my laptop with his help and "fix" the problem

Hung up as soon as I answered.

I answered the phone but nobody spoke. Just hung up.
