Caller: Fake Amazon scammer

Scam. Recorded message saying it was Amazon and there was suspicious activity on my order. And that they’d blocked my order. Said my phone info (wrong info). End of message was “press 1 now”. I’m suspect if I’d pressed 1 I would have ended up talking to an Indian.

Indian person who called up saying that she wanted to organise an electricity usage monitor as they are part of the Victorian Government. I asked how she had my number but she ignored my question and kept going on saying that she worked for a Victorian Government Department. When I challenged her on this she told me to stop wasting her time and hung up on me. Complete Scam.
