Indian scammer calling about a government electricity rebate.
Knew my first name and an old postcode I used to live at. When I asked him for more of my details he hung up.

Call centre - telemarketer - go play with the traffic...

Caller: Vic Gov Energy Upgrade program

Phone rang 6.30pm as I was preparing family dinner. Very hard to understand Indian guy in a noisy call centre rattled on about a free powerpal device they can install the following day afternoon. I said OK assuming he knew my name and address. Its been 4 days now and nothing has been done. I've tried calling back to enquire but my calls don't get through.

Talking in some regional indian language but not with me with another colleague of their workplace but called at 7 Pm. Which means scammer most of time after working hours.

Phone popped up as suspected scam caller so did not answer these 2 calls were at 7 30pm on a Monday.

Calls regularly around 630pm. They have called me two days on a few occasions now and does not leave a message. My number is on a do not call register so this is a scam line.
Telstra, deactivate this number please!!!
