Caller: Energy Victoria

Rang me at 7.00pm with some scam, I told them to not hang up as I wanted my number removed as per my previous call this afternoon but she just hung up on me. I told the jerky who rang me at 5.00pm from (03) 7067 5128 to remove my number before he hung up on me, they're both now blocked.😡

Calls at 730pm asking if I've received my power monitoring device. Said I was homeless so didn’t need one and hung up on me. I was deeply hurt.

I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but the Do Not call register actually expires and so you have to relist your number(s) after a few years

Some dude asking if I had delivery of a power monitoring advice. Had my address which he got from "Australian database". When I said "it's a scam" he said "OK" and hung up.

I responded with Australian federal police how may I direct your call… funnily enough they hung up…..

Indian accent - told me she is calling on behalf of Victoria Government to offer me a power monitoring device. Asked where she got my name, replied got it from management database.

Called after 9pm. Wish these scamming gutter snipes would stop calling!! I am on the do not call register and still getting these nuisance calls…… Grrrrrr

Indian accent asking me if I’d received my power monitoring device. Wasn’t going to talk to a possible scam caller ringing at approximately 8 p.m. on a Friday night. I didn’t answer and they hung up.

Multiple calls from variants of 03 7067 5###. I never answer (only way to keep them in the dark as to if my number is active) but they persist, I block each new number.
For those who complain they should not get called as their on the Do not call List - Scammers do not abide by legislation - they are criminals after all!
Charities, Government, Political Parties & Research groups are also exempt and legally allowed to call you. The do not call list is almost pointless. It limits only a few groups, those legitimately trying to sell something.

Called at 2:30pm. Left a voicemail but didn't say anything, judging by the other comments it's likely this scam or telemarketing. Commenting to add to the pile.

Harassing me 5 calls in 10 mins.

Called me today using a postcode I haven't lived at in 12 years, wanting to know if I've received my free energy monitoring device, clearly trying to obtain updated address details to engage in identity theft. When I asked for the name of the business he said 'Energy Monitoring Services' based in Point Cook 3030 and to look them up on Google. I said I've looked them up on ABR.business.gov.au and there is no such company or organisation with that name that holds an ABN in the country. He terminated the call.

Scam. Block this number.

The DO NOT CALL Register is where these people get your numbers from, are you seriously putting your number on these lists and NOT expecting random calls. They pay the company to get these lists to save them time. Anyone who is on one of these registers should expect spam calls regularly.

If I’d recently changed shower heads and what one was it. Let her hang for a bit while she called out hello hello then i hung up. Twats.

Another call from the 0370675XXX variant, this time, 70675125, didn't leave a message, presumably another from the energy monitor mob, who are also now hawking ceiling fan seals... these are legitimate free items from Vic Gov for improved home efficiency, but it has resulted in telemarketing mobs cold calling trying to find people to install them and get the gov fee.

Apparent scam - 'Optus advises that this number is disconnected', when I tried to call back - Block the number.
