Unknowingly left recorded message with background noise of callers. Called back to get the standard response “Optus advises the number you have called has been disconnected”

Called me saying from Microsoft and advised someone is using my Microsoft account and asked me to match the number they provided with my laptop. Received the same call two days ago from two other numbers. Blocked

Scam call. The usual slight pause when you pick up. Definite foreign accent. Knows my name and even postcode. I just said wrong number, hung up and blocked. Good to share these stories here to warn others.

Received recorded phone call says someone trying to charge my Amazon’s account for $1140.
I hung up because I don’t have an Amazon account and I don’t have that much money in my account.

Claimed to be Microsoft reporting a prob with my computer. Almost lost $20,000 to this scam 3 weeks ago.

Scam. Pretend to be Victoria government on power meter.

Called me twice. last one left call center noise. Ball back the number is not connected.
SCAM Call.

Scam number blocked

answered call and caller hung up - called back - received response that number was not connected - SCAM - blocked

They phoned and didn't leave a message. Time wasting scammers I believe. Another probable scammer phoned yesterday and their number ended in 5. All other numbers identical.

Caller: No idea

Called and asked if they were speaking to Michael. I said yes and the call ended. Assuming they'll be back...

Constant calls from these kind of numbers requesting my postcode and address to install a device on my metre box to read my usage. Very pushy even had "supervisor" call after I told them not to call back.

Indian guy pretending to be from Telstra and asking personal details to try and get information from me.

I keep getting calls from the numbers i have on silence so try calling back and disconnect SCAMMERS BEWARE DODGE

Scam call and does not leave a message

Indian guy asking if I’ve heard of the home monitoring device.

Asked my name and then hung up. Heard other telemarketers in the background. Blocking this number.

Missed the first one, answered the second. Couldn’t completely understand but called at 8.40 and 9.00 at night! Bloody annoying. Blocked

Sounded like the guy was speaking in Russian then he hung up

Got a phone call from this number. An Indian guy knew my name and offered me a better home loan. Told him no and he hung up straight away. Can not re turn the call as it says number can not be connected.
