Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Rang two days running without leaving a message. Glad to read reports here of probable scam.

“Solar panels” phishing for personal information. Scumbags

Foreign man claiming to be NBNs security department

Caller said they were from Microsoft's technical department, asked me whether I was in front of my computer and told me my computer had been hacked.
"About to be hacked" was probably more appropriate.......

Scammers claiming to be from AMAZON

They mentioned they're some sort of security company for my visa and mastercard.
hung up on them real quick

Indian claiming to be from "mortgage and financial group".
I asked for the company website and he said it was mezy.com.au, but probably isn't.
Obviously a scam.
I asked how he got my number and he said "from public residential records".

Only let ring a few times then hung up in hope of me calling back. Not going to happen

SPAM - spoof number emulating call from Melb, VIC - blocked as unsolicited.

Phoned my mobile & land line at same time. Didn't answer either phone.

Said the number was calling from Melbourne. I don’t answer unknown numbers. They didn’t leave a message so it’s another blocked number.

Caller: someone claiming to offer solar panel rebates

when i asked them if they know what the do not call register is, she said she wasn't aware my number was on there and would delete it from their dbase. this isn't the first time i have had the same interaction with a person calling about solar rebates and claiming they didn't know my number was on that list and that they would delete.
when i told them i would report the number but they wouldn't care because they are likely a scam, they get defensive and tell me they aren't - eat a bag of cheap rubber dongs you annoying scammers.

A person with a thick accent claimed to be calling from “Mortgage and financial group”. Already knew my name. Creepy.

A female with an Asian accent asked, "Do you have solar?"
I simply said, "No thanks" and hung up.
