Caller: scammers

Indian call centre claiming to be someone from Telstra and saying there's something wrong with your internet. SCAM!

Caller: An Indian-accented gentleman named Martin.

He mentioned something about broadband, and asked me how I was doing. I said "I am working. Can you cut to the chase?". His response was "no" and then left the line open. Martin. Mate. Buddy. Friend. Pal. You can kiss what you can't kick.

Caller: No answer

Answer my phone complete security and emergency immediate immediate hung up. Tried calling back, hung up immediately.

Robotic message claiming to be from the ATO and that my TFN had been compromised.

100% scam. Avoid

This number frequently calls my phone, several times a day, doesn’t speak, nothing !!

Automatic message claiming to be from paypal. Was going to call them a scammer but it hung up automatically.

Caller: some lady

called saying she was from Telstra - told me to look up a website called "show me your IP" because apparently my IP address had been leaked to a public domain. she was very rude and kept going silent when i asked her questions. i asked what org she worked for and then she hung up on me

Keeps ringing

Philipino accent saying he was from Telstra department of IT, asked him if he was a scammer, he hung up, so rude.

Didn't recognise the number so let it go to message bank. No message left. Previous comments on this page confirm telemarketer and/or scam call.

Claimed to be from Telstra regarding my internet, I told them my internet is not with Telstra and hung up!

claimed he was from Telstra ...asked me to tell him how many lights were on my modem. then to open up my browser at that point I hung up!

Did not expect any lan line call from Melbourne, did not answer. Scam call

Recorded voice saying NBN was going to be disconnected. Press 1 for technician. I hung up and blocked number

Caller: Claiming to be Amazon

As above, indian accented lady claiming to be from Amazon regarding my Amazon Prime Video Service that I supposedly activated last month for $40 that I'm already getting charged for and would I like to continue the service or cancelled.

Hung up immediately, but no doubt would've taken me through a process that ended up with them asking for gift cards or my bank details.

Scam

Caller: Call centre claiming to be Telstra

Slow to respond when I answered then introduced themselves from Telstra. They fumbled their words then stopped speaking so total silence but noisy call centre in background. I asked if I could help them with something and they hung up. I have no Telstra accounts.

Someone impersonating Amazon and telling that my prime membership will be renewed today and if I don't want it, I need to talk to their "people". I hung up.

Caller: Scammer

Said he was calling from Telstra regarding my internet.
I don't even have internet in my name.
Clearly an Indian scammer.

Call centre claiming to be someone from Telstra and saying there's something wrong with your Internet.

An American woman asking whether I knew something about the new Crisis government unit. She was disconnected.
