Caller: Supposedly Amazon

Scam call. Left a message saying my account is going to be debited $1500 unless I pressed #1 to talk to them and release the hold they’d put on my account. Double checked with Amazon and my account is fine.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

SCAM!! Claimed to be Telstra offering me a 50% discount for 6 months on my mobile phone - proceeded to send me a link via SMS asking me click the link, change password and give them the new password - I couldnt hang up fast enough!! They then called me again from 6 different numbers, which I ignored. Numbers used were (03) 9123 1007, (03) 9123 1020, (03) 7065 3428, (02) 9071 0275, (02) 7251 9528 and (08) 6383 6726.

Caller: Probably scammer

My phone set to block unknown numbers, but they still get through ?

Left an automated message, from Amazon Prime account for 79.99 saying I need to update my details by pressing 1. it's fake as I don't have an amazon account.

Caller: Claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank

Scam call. Claimed to be from Comm Bank saying I had $1800 transaction on my debit card few moments ago, asked me to press 1 or 2 to approve or cancel. When i stay silent for few seconds it hung up.

Caller: Not sure as didn’t answer and phone wouldn’t let me answer

They rung me and came up as Melbourne, I had a call yesterday from a Melbourne number nearly identical and then from Perth, both hung up on me 5 seconds into the call. This time round, I tried to answer but my phone wouldn’t let me swipe to answer. Didn’t leave a voicemail or anything either. Guesssing a scam because it’s a Saturday and no one I know rings me from Melbourne on a Saturday.

SCAM caller. Block.

Said they were from com bank . Money drawn from someone . From my master card . Wanted my details to stop transaction.

Caller: Pretend Ebay

Scam call from someone pretending to be EBAY asking me to authorise a transaction for a 500 dollar gift card that had been ordered through my phone number.

Caller: Not NAB bank

Automated voice saying they were from NAB AND that Ebay had deleted money from my credit card for amounts of $300 + $1000 .

Heavily accented male called saying my PC had viruses and asked me to run Event Viewer, proceeded to sound shocked and worried after I told him there was more than 10,000 events in the log. Tried to get me to Remote Desktop but I hung up on him after.

SCAM: Automated message regarding a visa and master card payment for $1500.00. Press 1 for details.

suposedly from Visa/Mastercard about a $1500 overseas funds transfer. nothing to do with me dont deal with said business

Have received similar calls from number before, no message left.

Caller: Purportedly Amazon

This was about the 6th call this week, first Australian number (others from overseas numbers) saying $799 amount I need to authorise. Press 1 or 2. Scam! Blocked them all but they must have umpteen phones.
