Said I had to pay an overdue account. I said my line was bad, can they repeat. They said they'd 'call me later'. I said I have bad reception and 'don't have an alligator' and they hung up lol

I’m from the cba. You’re account has been accessed overseas and a payment of $800 has been made to “This person”. Yeah right my cards are all locked and I have two stage verification on all payments.

Caller: Scammer claiming to be Telstra

I just had a scammer call me and say they were from Telstra about my internet, said they needed to transfer me to a senior manager. I said I don’t have internet just on my mobile. He said that’s what he meant and that I should listen more carefully. I could hear him pass the phone to the guy next to him. He told me his name was Bruce Lancaster. He needed me to open my App Store and download “Anydesk”.
I said, oh no this is so wrong. Why are you trying to scam people like this? He said to just do what I’m told. I said, well I’m not going to and you shouldn’t try and defraud people like this. He said I don’t know what you mean. I said yes you do and started laughing. He said just download it. I said, No, do you know who I am? Does it tell you on your file who I work for? This call is being recorded. He said, You work for My d*ck! I then laughed harder and said, did you really just say I work for your d*ck and laughed even harder. He then hung up on me!

Claiming to be Telstra re a problem with my internet. Number blocked.

Likely spam. Hangs up right sway when you call back.

Scammer pretending to be from Optus. More BS that's been happening since the Optus hack where they're digging up any number they can find to try and steal from.

Caller: Visa and Mastercard verification

Said they needed to verify a transaction when I told them this was bs and they would be reported for a scam they said no problem and hung up

Told me he was from Telstra & that international people were logging into my router & he needed me to login to my computer to fix it. I strung him along for a bit pretending that I was just a bit vague on how computers work then I said I didn’t know how to logon to my computer. He lost it then & said ‘You don’t know how to login, what are you a f%#* idiot? F*%k you’ & he hung up

Scammer said they are from the government & need to know if I have solar panels on my home.
I told them I’m not interested then I hanged up & blocked the number.

Caller: Amazon?

Call from person who said they were from Amazon wanting me to verify an iPhone order. Got shirty with me when I said I didn't believe them and they could play me a message to verify who they were. Gave me an address in Sydney as soon as I answered the call. Very argumentative. I ended up just hanging up as am at work. Logged in and checked my Amazon account and no such order exists. They kept saying they hadn't asked me for any details but I'm sure if I said I had ordered a phone they would have asked for futher details.

Telstra, said my IP address is in public mode and tried to configure it as quickly as possible. I said, I ma not home and hang on them.
Should we report these types of calls? and how?

SPAM saying it was an amazon prime refund into my account for an iphone purchase. busy background. i told him that i would like to be emailed. he hung up.

Called claiming to be from Telstra, needing to urgently fix my internet. i told them I am not with Telstra but they said it was an urgent issue and I needed to download an app to fix it. SCAM!
