I have no Account with 'Amazon'... So hung up. Very much indeed a scam

Said they're from Visa/Mastercard call centre and wanted to speak about a $199 Amazon transaction. I hung up.

Called twice to get through do not disturb, I don't answer unknown callers. Got a message from message bank there was nobody there. So probably a scam. Don't bother.

This scam calling number seems to have become very activate in late March 2023. The number is similar to others that have recently harassed me. I didn't bother to answer after checking the highly informative entries of fellow contributors to reverseaustralia.com. Thanks!

Caller: Claimed to be from NBN

Scam call from woman caller with Indian accent...asked her why she was lying and she hung up.... NBN do not make unsolicited calls

Called me a few times over a few days - did not know the number so did not answer the call and no message was left. Probably a Scam.

Said he was calling from NBN wanted to service my network - very persistent. I hung up.

Same here. Said they were from Visa/Mastercard and were reporting an unauthorised transaction. They they started asking me about when I last checked my online banking account, so I hung up.

Came up as potential fraud so didn't answer, number blocked

Caller: Computerised voice

Said they were from Visa and my card had 'unusual payments on it. If I wanted them paid push 1 on the phone. Yeah right! Pushed the off button instead and blocked the number.

Caller stated to be from nbn. Hanged up.

Left it ring six times to see if it was a multidial bot, there was silence on answer, so the bot didn't disconnect when some other sucker picked up call.

Automated voice, said Amazon prime renewal is scheduled. And to speak to their "accounts team" to cancel.

Suspect to be a scam. Hung up and didn't speak to their "accounts"

Caller: Said was ebay

Said that ebay had charged $$ to my card or account and if it was wrong to speak to someone. Sounded legit but I don't have an ebay account lol

Caller: TELEMARKETER

answered the call and claiming to be telstra. Tell me exactly 'telstra is the mother of all internet provider.... i just hang up.. it could be telemarketer and could be scam too.
