Caller: Claimed to be from Amazon

Got a voicemail (Robocaller) from this number advising me my amazon prime was about to be 'renewed' for $99.99 and attempts to route me to cancel it by speaking to their cancellation team. I don't have an amazon prime subscription... Probably scammers trying to get credit card info.

Like another poster has mentioned this call was an automated voice message claiming to be Amazon saying that Amazon prime membership would be renewed for $99. Clearly a scam

Scammers claiming they were Telstra and that we had internet security issues.

Caller: Some Indian guys, one supposed to be my "financial account manager" and one supposed to be the "assistant account manager"

Some indian voices trying to 'stop my bank transaction that are being sent to Mr John Smith'. They even know my name, but not my full name that are on my official ID.
They ask to type in www.anydebts.com on google and input the credit card number etc.
Pls block this number

(03) 7065 3413 called after 2 mobile calls (which I hung up on) re "Telstra Internet". We do not have Telstra Internet

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

Female person with indian accent said they were from Telstra calling to let me know my IP address had been changed from private to public. I went along with the caller saying i knew this to which they replied thats great and hung up.

Caller: said he was from broadband

said he was from broadband so i hung up

Caller: Claiming to be fraud department for anbank

SCAM. Called asking if I had authorised a payment of 900 dollars to someone advised I had not I asked which bank they were calling from and said commonwealth bank I advised I don’t have a account with that bank and they terminated the call.

Recorded message saying the call was from the Commonwealth Bank who I don't bank with. 100% scam.

Indian scam call pretending to be Optus Support. Clearly another dodgy follow up to the Optus hack. Blocked number.

I received a msg on my computer from "Microsoft' claiming my computer was infected with a Trojan virus. On ringing the "Microsoft" 1800 number at the foot of the msg on my screen I was eventually rung back by a caller using this number who proceeded to walk me through way to catch the "Hackers" infecting my computer. Fortunately I smelt the rat in time. Again, this originated from my computer I think from a redirection for an article I saw on FB.

I tried to call back and went to a can’t connect prompter

Caller: Indian man

Said he was from Optus and that my email address and phone have been hacked by someone in California and I should check my IP to see where it is being used and the AFP would be in contact. I told him I didn’t believe him. I asked him for his mobile number so I could call him back when I wasn’t so busy. Wouldn’t play and hung up when I didn’t want to do what he said.

Telstra? I think not! My verbal abuse made them hang up promptly.
