Same pattern as a series of similar numbers starting either 7053- or 7054-
They hang up within around 20s

Caller: They pretended Telstra

The same guy called me from a different number, but saying the same thing, something happened to my internet (the last time was to my Gmail!), and IP address brah brah brah brah, they pretend they are Telstra. Even though I said I don't think you are from Telstra, he was trying to provide his Telstra staff ID number or something... so persistent. Nuisance!

Scammer they didn’t ask for me by name they were just going hello? and we’re mumbling something I didn’t quite catch And there was a noisy background like a call centre , I don’t answer right away to check first I’m not being totally rude and ignoring potentially important calls , but you have to be smart and vigilant and careful what you say on the phone especially after the news has been saying a lot lately that scammers record or voices on calls and use ai to impersonate people needing 1 minute Rec time of our voice to be able to do that . Anyway They hung up after 20 or 30 secs , they never said who they are ,they sounded local for a change or but they didn’t asked for me by name and I don’t know anyone from Melbourne . Hence why I was careful.

Lady with Indian accent called advised from Vodafone and wanted to know how my services going and when I started asked ng questions as I was aware she wasn’t Vodafone hung up.
