Indian claiming to be “Steve” from “Telstra”
I said I wasn’t with telstra and he told me they were the mothership and that my information was compromised and my information was leaked on the dark web, then asked when I used the internet last.
I said “sounds like a scam”
he called me a “motherf**cker” and hung up. very funny really

Nuisance caller.

Caller: They said it was Paypal

They told me that a payment of $800+ was going to Jane Smith. They asked if I wanted to authorise the payment. They said my email address but it was slightly incorrect and when I told them it wasn’t my address they asked for what it was. When I asked them where they were reading the address from, they kept pushing and eventually hung up.

Recorded voice telling me my phone would be out of service today and then instructions to press 1 for English - I didn't listen to the rest

Called saying something about Internet they ended up hanging up when i did reply

“Melbourne” number (obviously a spoof number). Called three times in a span of two hours, no voicemail. I didn’t answer it any of those times. Number blocked. Obvious scam.

Called twice in a week before i blocked. Once claiming to be Telstra about data and I don't have a Telstra account so hung up. Missed the second. Called back and number is not connected. Blocked.

When I saw the 03 (for Victoria) number I didn’t answer as a call from anyone I know in Victoria would come up with their name. Suspect it was a Scam call

Didn’t answer the call. Called on Sunday. It showed caller from Melbourne and I don’t have any friends there. Suspicious as spammer.

Caller: Indian accent

Claimed to be calling about an unauthorised purchase on Ebay. When I said I was going to look up my account, he hung up.

Caller: I don't know but he had a heavy Indian accent

Indian male voice using the usual Telstra scam about my internet being exposed to the public domain.

Unknown number. I didn't answer it. After reading RA comments I'm glad I didn't waste my time.

called twice, dropped the call on connection.
