Caller: Unknown Supposedly calling regarding Telstra internet connection. I do not have an internet service with Telstra. I hung up thereafter.

Caller: (03) 7053 1537 Called today, greeted me by name and told me they were from PayPal to authorise a large payment to a travel company in the US, hung up as soon as I said no and I didn’t have a PayPal account

Called today and I only answered as it was a local number. The woman asked for me by name and then claimed to be from Telstra, (I don't have Telstra Account) she said how my details had been compromised wanted me to go into my IP Address details and then wanted my credit card details. I never gave any details and she ended up hanging up on me. Still don't know how she had my name in the first place.
