Unsolicited call. No voicemail left. Probably a scam.

Caller: Australian federal police

So I got this message left in my voicemail from this number (03) 7053 1527 saying they’re from the Australian federal police I knew straight away that I’ve done nothing wrong so by the look of it this number and all your comments is pretending to be a lot of different businesses. I’ve reported it to scam watch.

Pain in the arse scammers

Knew my name and wechat account - creepy. They didn't have time to explain what they wanted before I hung up. They phoned another 4 times but I ignored them.

Caller: Said Vodafone

Say they are from Vodafone and offering 40% off current plan. Definitely a scam.

Missed a call from this number. Tried to call back to be told it's "Disconnected". This article has clarified it's a dodgy voip number..

Caller: Said they were from VISA security.

They had my mobile number and name. They said there had been a suspicious transaction on my VISA card and that they would cancel the transaction. They then said they needed me to contact a number they provided for CBA to confirm my account details. Suspected a scam and hung up. They phoned again and I continued to hang up.

Asked my name from the "Visa and Mastercard Fraud Centre"

Didn’t answer as I’ve had other calls from numbers starting with 03 7053…. From messages here definitely a scam caller and blocked.

Caller: Scam Telstra

100% scam. Stated it was from Telstra about security issues in my broadband. I don't have Telstra broadband. The scammer asked me to confirm my full name (she said my name), when I told her to stop there, she ended the call.

Claimed to be Pay Pal.
I don't use paypal, so likely to be a scam

Called a little after 6pm. Complete silence when I picked up the phone. No reply to my hello. Highly suspicious. Have blocked.

Caller: Not sure

Called at dinner time so probably a telemarketer. Ignored the call - no voicemail left

Most lik a scam call. Sounded like someone went to talk then a funny sound.

Caller: Spam to update my information

Tried to get me to update my details on my gov
