I let it ring out . No message so I guess I didn’t win a car !
Appears it’s scammers from reports here.

Claimed to be calling from commbank, asking if I'd had money pending from a transaction from new zealand

Caller: Claiming to be PayPal, it’s a scam

Claimed to be PayPal, asked if I was *my name* and asked if I had time to talk about my security. I said No, they hung up. Just another scammer. Had a Melbourne area code.

Caller: robotic female voice

Robot voice called claiming to be my GP.

Came up as suspected spam. I didn't answer.

Claimed to be eBay security about a recent purchase- No purchase made be me.

I got this call this morning with a recorded message from a very well spoken English female voice (probably AI generated).
She was advising that I am getting this message to advise I had missed an important message from the Australian Government and to press 'reply' to speak to someone. Obviously a scam as Govt departments sent emails or SMS.
