This nymber called while the mobile was switched off. There was a warning sign and the words: "Suspicious Calling Pattern - Block Caller"

Called on a Sat morning saying from the Commonwealth Bank. Auto voice asking to authorise a $1800 purchase on my card. Select 1 to not authorise and 2 to authorise then clinked over to a person who hung up when I asked who they were

"Amanda" called from this number stating that my Telstra internet has switched from private to public. I asked her to send me an email and she disconnected the call. SCAM

They hung up as soon as I answered.

I have had a number of calls from numbers starting with 03 7053 15.. .they started a week ago. I’ve now had two today. I look them up on this site and there have been numerous negative reports left. Every time they ring on a different number, I block it.

I got a notification that someone had rung my mobile and left a message, but the number started with my state's area code, however it should not have shown unless it was generated out of Victoria. I have a silent land line phone and rang the number and got a spoken Telstra message that the number was not in service. The number's been blocked.

Caller: Australian Government Cyber security works with major banks blah blah blah

I was told my paypal account was hacked so he can block it for me. Making situation very urgent. He said he can block my Paypal account for me but I said I can block it myself after checking my account. I checked it and nothing seemed to happen to it. Called me twice after I hand up too.

Caller: PayPal?

Received a call from this number a man with an Indian accent telling me that his name was Kevin and he was from PayPal asked me if I have a PayPal account. I advised I did not,, never used it. He was very insistent and said this was not a scam was very suspicious of the call even more now. Please don’t answer this number fishing for information.

Claimed to be an electricity company. Sounds dodgy so told them wasn’t interested. Probably changes the scam every so often.

Caller said she was from Telstra calling about IP address. I hung up as realised a scam and blocked the number.

This is a SCAM!

Got a missed call from them, thought it was a company, didn’t answer or anything but blocked since I’ve read other people have blocked them
