Claimed to be from Visa and Mastercard fraud dept. Querying a charitable donation transaction of $800 to Canada. I asked which bank they were calling on behalf of, she stumbled then mentioned one of the big 4 banks who I don't bank with so I hung up

Offered GST refund? because I had a good credit record , etc. Knew I had Westpac account and my address Offered $7600. Gave me a bs line about being from Commonwealth Grants Dept of "Canberra" (RedFlag) ( www.cgc.gov.au) . Told me to go to nearest Post Office. said I would need ID . Then asked for my drivers Licence number so I hung up.
