Caller: (03) 7049 4866

Long pause after I answered (like most spam calls) but they claimed they were from the Visa Mastercard Security department. When I laughed a little & said "yeah OK", they immediately hung up.
I tried calling the number back 5 times, just to see what would happen & every time it immediately disconnects before even ringing.
Obviously a scam/fraud and they just didn't want to waste their time after I laughed disbelieving.

Called and stated they were from PayPal- asked them to send me their issue in an email and they hung up. This phone number apparently links to a childcare centre so definitely a scam

this number called my phone at about 1.30pm on 19/10/24. It was automatically marked scam and was blocked by my provider Telstra.

Caller: Said they was from ebay

I am not on ebay a pause when I answered then crapped on about ebay tried calling back they just hang up so don't bother with this idiot

Caller: Scammer

Called saying they're from Telstra and that my IP address is now public or something. Wanted me to log in so I could see for myself. I told her I wasn't going to do that and she hung up. Clearly a scam. Indian or similar accent. I tried calling the number back but call failed every time.

Visa card fraud hang up

Sounded like a prerecording of a female speaking Islamic or similar

Long wait after I answered. A lady with a heavy Indian accent and a lot of background sounds, claimed to be from the "Visa Mastercard Security Department" (didn't use my name tho).
When I chuckled out loud and said "yeah ok" she hung up immediately.
I tried calling back multiple times just to see what happened and it immediately disconnects.

Obviously a full-on scam / fraud and I'm guessing she hung up because she didn't want to waste her time running thru the actual scam with me after my incredulous chuckle.
