12Aug25 incoming call was a recorded msg, giving company name something like Research Australia, doing research on the effect of interest rates. First question was I over 50... I thought I'd like to help with proper research but didn't have opportunity of finding out the correct phone number for that company, and maybe someone with a different motive might be wanting that information, so I declined. Glad I did. Later, phone number seemed not associated with any research company.

Came up on my mobile. I don't usually get scam calls on my mobile. The number defaulted to suspect scam call. I looked it up on the comments on our computer and it did come up as a number used by scammers.

They called from (03) 7048 3055 it only rang 3 times so I called back, recorded message was it is an invalid number, please check it and try again. I suspect it is a scammer as there was no voice message left initially at the 3rd ring.
