Robocall survey from 'Australian Research Centre', first question was age, I hung up after that

Call was blocked by my phone (so didn't even ring) because the number is registered in Australia as spam.

Called me at 3:19pm Tuesday 13 June 2023 - scam alert on my mobile phone.
They have previously called me to ask personal financial questions - SCAM!

slight delay then recorded message from Tess at Australian Research Centre. Hung up as recorded messages are scams.

research call wanting to discuss cost of leaving pressures through automated market research call. Recommend everyone say they are struggling badly so the government gives us more money.

Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. These weird numbers I never answer (always goes to voicemail but they never leave a message - how surprising!)

It's not actually someone dialling a number it's an automated call dialler... it picks you at random

Just received a call from this number. I didn't answer it. If they don't leave a message they don't get a reply.

Annoyed to be bothered by these calls. I didn't know number so didn't answer it. No message was left. Will block it.

received call, no voicemail. i've seen this one quite a few times now so i've added the number into my contacts list as SPAM Australian Research Centre so I know to ignore it.

This call showed as coming from Melbourne, Victoria. When I answered a female voice (with an Australian accent for a change) claimed to be doing some sort of research or statistics regarding the costs of living, then asked me my age. I thought I'd play along for a little while to see what they were up to, so I gave my approximate age, after which there was a brief period of silence, then the caller hung up. I would say it was almost certainly some sort of scam.

Frequent calls with no message left . I do not return calls definitely a nuisance caller.

They hanged up when I answered, and when I called back I got a "line busy" tone.

The caller said that they were from the Australian Research Centre and they had a one-minute survey about the cost of living. I often answer surveys for Roy Morgan etc., and this was a Melbourne landline number, so I fell for it. I answered "yes" or "no" to questions about general brackets related to income, age, mortgage, etc. They asked my first name at the end to go into a $1,000 prize draw. I don't think I gave away any specific personal details except my first name, however now I am worried that my voice will be spoofed.

I received a call but y phone rejected it before I could answer it, identifying it as spam. I thought just to be safe I would look it up and have found a lot of people complaining about an unsolicited call. I am also on the Do not call register and thankfully some filtering is taking place.

I also received an unsolicited call from the phone number (03) 7046 6856. I didn't answer it, and the caller did not leave a message.
