No answer when I called back . Automated call .

I just received an unsolicited call from the phone number (03) 7046 6856. I didn't answer it, and the caller did not leave a msg. I would recommend blocking this number to be safe.

No msg left and would not connect on returning the call. Blocked. Would love to know how so many scam callers get my number when every site I deal with promises protected privacy.

Scam .. asks for a survey about how interest rates are affecting every day Australians don't speak then it just hangs up

Caller: Tess from the 'Australian Research Centre'

The caller was not an actual live person on the line but introduced herself as 'Tess' from the Australian Research Centre conducting survey for a leading Australian organisation on the impacts of cost of living and I could win $1000 for answering their questions. I asked again from where they were calling and the same introduction was repeated meanwhile I googled 'Australian Research Centre' and found 'Australian Research Council' instead. When I informed' Tess' I was just googling the Australian Research Centre, the line when dead.

Do Not Call register means absolutely squat when they set the computer to automatically dial every single number in sequence, regardless...

Left message about a contest. Win a $1000. Sounds like some some sort of scam. Blocked number.

Didnt leave a Voicemail but called back a number of times through the day. Block this caller.

I have a message bank, didn’t leave message. Call back attempted engaged outcome.. Another site said automated call to go in a contest. Clear scam.

Answered since I’ve been applying for jobs. A clearly automated female voice trying to sound like a person was claiming to be asking about his house prices are affecting the every day person. Answered one question because I was very confused and then they hung up in the middle of asking the second.

Kinda concerned they just wanted a voice sample for the voice id thing that the government’s started using

My thinking is telephone numbers are been accessed when companies are hacked

I wasn’t able to answer the call since I was in a meeting. If it was legit, they would have left a message but they didn’t. So I blocked the number.
