Have called 8 times. I’ve answered every single time they’ve given me the same story about energy saving things and I tell them over and over to stop calling and they keep calling, it’s become a game now.

Hello, this is Micheal how are you? I answered back, good thanks, then he hung up. Had rung earlier in the afternoon but I didn't answer.

An annoying bastard who has nothing better to do except look for people to rip off.
Probably affiliated with Telstra or other weak providers who do nothing to put a stop to this practise.

Just hang up on you when you answer…blocked now

Caller: "David"

I answered and they asked if they were speaking to XXXXX (knew my first and last name). I replied "who is calling?" to which he responded David. And again asked if I was XXXXX. I said "Sorry, who are you?" and he responded again with David, only this time he sounded obviously annoyed. I said "David from where?" as there was no mention of a company or reason for calling and he audibly scoffed at me. Then started angrily swearing and mutttering to himself including the phrase "f*cking bitches" before he eventually hung up. No idea what he wanted as we didn't get past that first introduction of "David".

last two digits change on five numbers (03) 7042 8913, 29, 46, 60, 62. 'Victorian Government Energy Saving' Who are they really?

Time our Govenrment made legislation to stop fake numbers from calling us and wasting our time. Telcos should be able to stop SPOOFING.

Had a call from this number today on my landline. Let it go to the answering machine and no message was left. My answering machine announcement is generic and does not use my voice or any personal details. When answering these types of calls, it is best never to say "Yes" or "No" when they ask direct questions, as everything is recorded. Also, never announce your name when answering, as that is recorded as well.

Caller: Web seo marketing rubbish subcontinent accents

After a short silence on pickup.... subcontinent voice...hello how are you today? Is this xyz business? I then asked "may I ask who's calling" response is I'm calling to improve your website. Lol. I'm an IT company.

Delayed response, Indian accent. Pathetic individuals that would rather work for corrupt call centres, then get an honest job. Don’t try reasoning with them just hang up.

so over these calls at work today they have been non stop waste of work time and my energy. Clearly the telco's are not doing enough to stop these calls.

They call...you answer. Nobody on other end. Then it hangs up.

As per other comments multiple calls at all hours.
These are coming in on the landline. Unable to block but have number recognition and just do not answer 😞
Landline will be going soon, so I hope this stops these type of calls.
