India Scam Call Centre, Block Number...

Calls me several times a day. Sick to death of these a holes

Missed call. Called back, recorded message asking me to press 1 to be connected or press 2 to opt out of their database. First these scum are scammers, second they clearly do not understand Australian spamming laws or the Do Not Call Register. Number is used by an Indian call centre trying to verify personal details.

Scammers - pre recorded claiming to be from Telstra saying my phone was behaving strangely. Press one for English or two for Chinese (which isn’t a language!).

An unknown Indian (noisy call centre) annoying the hell out of me.

Indian Caller Telemarketer Scammer. Knew as soon as there was a pause after i had greeted along with our company name. He begun with asking for the business owner but then quickly changed it and asked to speak to "Our Company Name" who is not an actual person. As most people would know. He seemed to lose his confidence. Immediately when i asked who it was they wished to speak to, there was a pause and they hung up. Also i could hear other people in the background. The number showed as (03) 7042 0239 on the phone screen. Totally been spoofed. Wish they could stop these bastards! Blacklisted now.

Web dev scam. Has called on this number before. They are well known and much reported from this number. The number is spoofed ie faked, it is not their real number. These call centre boiler rooms use VoIP, the calls are digital data sent by internet to local servers which then call your number.
The web developer ones want you to hire them to develop a website, which of course they don't do. They show you samples they either didn't write themselves, or a really basic one generated by free versions of Wordpress that any beginner could make in 2 minutes. If you do an image search on the photos or google the businesses in them, they have been used over and over again, they even steal each other's fake sites.
But, some of them don't care if you want a website or not, it's just a conversation they can use to help take or verify your ID, which they can then sell, or use.

THere is NO benefit to talking to these people whatsoever. Don't bait them, don't try to waste their time, do what everyone advises and hang up without speaking. There is NOTHING you can say that will make them leave you alone, and they are not web developers or telemarketers, just criminals, so they don't care about the Do Not Call register whatsoever.
The way to reduce the calls is to reject them without answering, or block them. They are always building a database about every number they call - you want your record to show that you don't answer, don't fall for it, not worth calling. They don't record what you say, just that you were willing to speak to them, and you don't want that in the database because it just makes them call more.

Samsung identified number as potential scammer. They didn't leave a message so, I blocked.

Interstate number. No message left. Checked here and found that it is an Indian scammer.

This caller's number is being reported here as being a scammer. Usually rings on a Friday. I never answer it and they never leave a message.
