Caller: Advance

When I answered there was the usual silence before she spoke. She said that she was “such and such” from Advance...., and this is where I hung up

Had a missed call from this number, looked on here.

I called back but always engaged. Bit suss, probably spam

I didn’t answer, google number and this information came up that it could be a covid 19 survey.

Answered but noone on end of line. Call hung up after 7 secs. Clearly SPAM call

Same here...called and didn't leave a message, so I checked this site and then blocked them.

Caller: Melbourne Advance

Picked up and it sounded like a pre-recorded message, but not quite sure. They wanted to see how people were coping with the pandemic. Asked if I was under or over 58, then if I thought I’d have to sell my home because of the pandemic. When I said I don’t even own a home, they hung up immediately and abruptly. Not even a “thank you goodbye”! How rude.

Why do people call back if they don't know the number? If it is important enough they will leave a message.
With my work I have to answer calls to my mobile from numbers that I don't know so ,y phone actually comes up with potential spam so I know not to answer these.

Survey but as it went along I became concerned the questions were too personally specific for a mere survey and they didn’t actually explain how they would use the data. Also, a voucher for what?

Saw this missed call....no voicemail.....and was flagged as potential fraud. so blocking it

I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. Always makes me suspicious - looked her for info.
