Host of other associated numbers I am blocking as they ring 5pm ish, dinner time and just as I am struggling to get my kids down to sleep

I guess a scam as they did not identify themselves

Scam. I treat any unfamiliar number that leaves no message or no text as a scam. If it were anything else it obviously has no importance or they would message you. Even more so this was on a public holiday, what place is open to be calling people on public holidays?!
