Caller: scammer These chinese scammers have an over-inflated opinion about theirmselves and think most of Australia is populated with chinese people lol! Yet another scammer speaking in chinese. It's some sort of threat where they say you are in trouble with the police and you will be deported unless you pay money. This is Australia bud we don't do that b.s. here!

Caller: chinese scammer Call from (03) 7037 4137 not a local call. Phone number is very similar to all other scam calls that I get on my mobile but will be a fake randomly generated number. Chinese woman with heavy chinese accent so I could hardly tell what she was saying. Something about a solar panel rebate. THIS IS A SCAM. There is NO SUCH THING now. A rebate only happens on new installations and it comes from the government. It's not for people who already have panels for 10+ years like me and anyway if there was a rebate it would be free not having to pay anything. My guess is they will ask for money at some point later which of course is a dead giveway that it's a scam. Asked my location and I gave her fake info. Said she was going to call back later so I'll make another report here if that comes in lol!
