Scam caller. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. Number blocked

Said she was from EBay and that my account had been used to make a $500 unauthorised transaction. I told her she is full of sh*t and that this was a scam. She hung up instantly!

Caller: Pay Pal

Calling about possible fraud transaction. I don't have a pay pal account. They hung up. Call blocked.

Caller: Said they were from PayPal

I answered. They said they were from PayPal and had my name and calling me about a suspicious transaction of $800 to my account. Gave me a reference number and kept asking me to repeat it back. I said I wrote it exactly as they said and didn't need to repeat. I asked for his name which he gave me along with his ID number and I asked to speak to manager and manager came on and said what's the reference number. I said he should know this. Repeated it to me incorrectly and when I mentioned this they hung up. Called the number back and instantly came us as potential fraud. Have blocked.

18 Jun 25 - recording saying my GP needs to update their records. Press 1 for English, press 2 for Chinese. Number now blocked as I suspect this is a phishing scam

Not sure who this was, came up as a mobile number from Melbourne but do not answer calls from them. They left a voicemail that said “Online. For English, please press one For Chinese, please press two” then spoke in Chinese and this was quite clearly text to speech and not a person. There was eerie piano music playing in the background while it spoke too, then the final 5 seconds of the voicemail was silence then hung up. Glad I did not answer, and I blocked them. Do not trust whoever they claim to be, block this number immediately, and report if your mobile provider allows for that

Demanding I contact them immediately first msgs where in Chinese or manderin now 5th call and it's final warning and offering English just press 1 ..

Tried calling, I didn't answer, was left a downloadable message... was not keen to open it

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Claimed to be Telstra calling due to “someone in Colorado using my IP for illegal activity” and couldn’t contact me from a business number due to “the account being compromised”

This phone number isn’t a Telstra account and it’s not connected to my internet at home..

Told them if they were legit they could contact me via my connected email, they didn’t like that idea.

Someone who doesn’t know better could easily fall for this

Called and left a robotic voicemail that was in Chinese.

Scam call regarding “Telstra internet connection” .

Rings a few times. Scam call from usual Melbourne area.

A lot of background noise when answered and was about to hang up when the caller spoke. Woman with a thick accent. Claimed to be Telstra, talking about activity on my account. I’ve never had an account with Telstra. Call abruptly ended mid sentence. Suspect scam
