Chinese voice pretend to be Optus

Had a call from this number 21/05/25 2:35pm advising they were the immigration department and had an urgent message for me. Press 1 for English, press 2 for Chinese. Message was spoken in English then repeated in Chinese.

Just had a call from this number, but my phone had a warning: suspicious calling pattern so i didn't answer it. No voice message left.

Had a phone call from a voice message saying that your phone will be. Cancelled tonight she sounded Chinese and you had a choice between Chinese and English. Another Fake caller.

Caller from “Telstra” advising my IP address was public

Caller: Lady with Indian accent claiming to be with Qantas airways limited

Scammer called pretending to be from Qantas airways limited. Said I had 4 tickets booked with my identification documents but was wondering why I had cancelled them.

Call from this number 21/05/25 at 2.34pm claiming to be from eBay customer service. I've had no dealings with eBay for over a year, so hung up.

Second call from this number today was at 12:44pm answered call, nothing was said, call lasted around 15 seconds this time, last call was only around 10 seconds but this time I could hear noise in the background like a call centre then they hung up , I have now blocked the number

Had a call from this number 10:25am no one spoke and after around 10 seconds it hung up

SCAM!!! Chinese caller saying, Ni Hao and I said yes, he hanged up!

Caller: Asian accented man

The guy asked me to check my internet settings on my phone. I asked if he was a scammer. He said "yes, I am a scammer and I need to scam you" then hung up.

Claimed to be from Mastercard, someone had used my account to purchase >$1200. She will cancel transactions and issue a new card but .... I had to give her the details of my current card details to confirm I was a Mastercard customer. I said she already had those details and to read them back to me and I will confirm or deny. Her accent was so bad I had difficulty trying to work out what she was saying, and she was very assertive about it. She threatened that if I did not give her my card details (including CVC!) she would not cancel the fraudulent transactions. I smelt a rat and told her I would contact Mastercard to verify her story. She hung up. I called the number back and it was answered by Tiger Brokers, a Chinese finance company with an office in Australia. Reverse Australia revealed all the other scams tried by this number. I felt like I had been punched in the head a few times. Do not respond to this phone number.

Tries to keep you online. Wants you to talk a lot. Will report to you that an international purchase is being made on your account.

Picked up but remained silent. Any 03 number followed by a 7 is an online number. They hung up in 2 secs. Scam

Had a call stating she was from telstra about my internet connection. Because i said to her that I had no internet and lived off the grid she asked if I had a window and to go jump out of it. These numbers should be immediately cancelled especially when there is more than a few complaining about these scam calls. Who is responsible for these landlines and they should be terminated immediately.

Stated they were NAB calling in relation to suspicious payment from my NAB account transferred to someone overseas. As I don’t even have an account with NAB, I said, “So you’re a scammer.” The phone hung up immediately.

Scammer Said it was Telstra and I changed my IP from private to public for my home internet. They were also trying to find out about my mobile phone and what type I was on.
